Introduction: Thank you for your interest in becoming a Member of the Institute for Global Health at BC Children's and Women's Hospital + Health Centre (IGH-CW).

Short description: Members of IGH-CW collaborate to improve the health and well-being of women, children, and their families around the world. Our impact is driven through the strengthening of both local and international capacity through research, education, and partnerships.
There is no cost to membership.
Benefits to IGH-CW membership include:
- Building and strengthening a community passionate about Global Health.
- Opportunities for collaboration and coordination.
- Conferences and events.
- Trainee matching.
- Knowledge dissemination.
- Newsletter with publications, events, and grants.
- Networking and mentorship through IGH-CW supported workshops, spotlight series, and seminars.
- Access to seed and clinical trainee travel grants.
- Pre-departure training materials.
- Forging connections and supports for international trainees.
Eligibility:
- Engaged or interested in Global Health efforts related to children's and women's health.
- Willing and committed to actively participating in at least 1 or more Global Health activities per year (e.g. amplifying Global Health efforts, collaborating with an IGH-CW member, attending a Global Health event, networking, working groups, strategic planning, responding to Global Health survey questions etc.).
- One of:
- Global, Provincial or National partner with a current collaboration with an active Member of IGH-CW, OR
- Currently staff or faculty at C&W, BCCHR, WHRI, BCCHF, or BCWHF, OR
- Trainee (Undergraduate, Graduate, Clinical Resident/Fellow etc.) supervised by a C&W Member.
Membership responsibilities:
- Committed to collaboration and sharing of information for the benefit of other members and partners.
- Participate in at least one IGH-CW Global Health event per year.
